Attributes Overview

What are Attributes?

An Attribute is the mechanism into which data is captured and displayed. Every single data field in your platform is built from an Attribute. All Suppliers and Items are collections of Attributes.

Why did we create Attributes?

TraceGains provides limitless opportunities for automation and improved efficiencies for your business - and Attributes are the foundation of those opportunities. Not only are Attributes used to collect and display data, but they are also designed to allow for complex configuration of Business Rules and automated Workflows.

How to use Attributes

Your platform comes equipped with hundreds of Attributes ready for use, but you can also create new Attributes if needed. In this article, you will learn about the different types of Attributes available for use in the system. 2022-08-25_13-58-17.png
