Using Configurable Dashboards in Supplier Management

What are Configurable Dashboards?

Configurable Dashboards are customizable dashboards with real-time reporting features. Whether you are creating high level reports for stakeholders or for real-time production data, Configurable Dashboards can be customized for your individual business needs.

Understand These First

Configurable Dashboard - Available only on the Analytics tab, these are pages that you can title as needed and add various charts to (pie, bar, column, gauge, donut, line, etc.) for analyzing your data.

User Defined Dashboard - UDDs are found on all tabs except Analytics, and allow you to customize your grid view. Read "Managing & Editing UDDs in SM" to learn more about UDDs.

Attribute – An attribute represents acategory of data, such as "Supplier Name", "Acidity", or "Status". A UDD is built by choosing attributes that you want to view on your grid.

Configurable Dashboards are built using a UDD and an attribute that you currently have set up in your system. Before you begin creating charts for your configurable dashboard, ensure that one or more of your UDDs has been built with the attribute(s) you want to report on.
