Formulas Tab Overview

What is the Formulas tab?

The Formulas tab was created to integrate data from many of TraceGains' modules. In Formulas, you can design recipes and even other formulas to operate as self-contained components offering broad reuse and quick interchangeability, to expedite the digital modeling of your commercial products.

Why did we create this feature?

Having all your data cross-linked and single-sourced:

  • Ensures against erroneous values on a single attribute found in multiple locations
  • Allows you to handle large and complex data objects, such as recipes, as single components
  • Gives you a large source of citations for your item claims

Controls on the Formulas Tab

The Formulas tab contains three tabs. These will be on every page that arises from the Formulas tab grid-page.

  • Product Claims - As part of your marketing, you'll want to develop "Claims" to give your end-customers immediate answers to some of their questions and to help categorize your products.
  • Smart Library - Access hundreds of thousands of studies with citation statements, along with advanced filters to help you find exactly what you need. Explore tens of thousands of ingredients, each complete with taxonomy and detailed information.
  • Process Steps - A centralized location to manage the steps associated with producing food, packaging, or dietary supplements.
