The 'Extract from COA' toggle is a setting specifically designed for COA attributes, enabling AI data extraction for those attributes. When enabled, AI will search for the attribute on the COA for each item it is assigned to. If disabled, AI will not extract any data for that attribute.
How to Enable 'Extract from COA'
Step 1: Go to Configuration > Attributes.
Step 2: Click the Business Rules icon for the desired attribute.
Step 3: In the Business Rules, toggle 'Extract from COA' to ON.
Step 4: Click Save.
Step 5: Once the 'Extract from COA' toggle is ON, additional settings will appear:
- Is Required: Toggle this setting if the attribute is required for AI processing.
- AI Prompt Override: This allows you to specify a custom AI prompt.
The system will now extract data for this attribute when processing COAs.
Bulk Enabling of 'Extract from COA'
For multiple attributes that need to be extracted from the COA, use the Bulk Selection via the Hamburger Menu.
Step 1: Go to Configuration > Attributes.
Step 2: Complete the following:
- Select multiple attributes that need to have the toggle enabled.
- Click on the Hamburger Menu.
- Select Enable Extraction.
Step 3: The following message appears given some attributes, such as a Specification Use, cannot be extracted from COAs. The system will ignore invalid attributes and apply changes only to valid COA attributes. To avoid this, check the Use column before enabling extraction.
If you choose to proceed, select 'Yes, Proceed' to update all applicable attributes.
After enabling the 'Extract from COA' toggle and configuring the necessary settings, the system will automatically extract relevant data from COAs for the selected attributes, streamlining the AI processing workflow.
