AI Prompts guide AI on what data to extract and how to modify it, if needed.
Below is a chart that outlines the different types of AI Prompts, their purpose, and how they help improve data accuracy.
Where AI Prompts Can Be Entered
AI Prompts can be applied at two levels across four different fields:
- Main Attribute Level
- Item Supplied Level
These fields are optional and only need to be configured when AI struggles to find the correct data.
Main Attribute Level
Option 1: Applies to the main attribute and all items assigned to it.
- Used when the same override applies across all items.
- Example: If an attribute name in the system doesn’t match the COA wording, an override ensures AI extracts the correct data.
To access the AI Prompt Override, go to:
- Configuration > Attributes
- Click the Edit Business Rules icon associated with your attribute
- AI Prompt Override
Option #2: To access the AI Prompt, go to:
- Configuration > AI Settings
- In the AI Extraction Settings page, scroll down to the Extraction Attributes section
- Click on the Accuracy bullseye icon > AI Prompt
Item Supplied Level
Applies only to specific items from a supplier.
- Used when a supplier's COAs use unique phrasing or require data modifications.
- Example: A supplier lists "Ref." instead of "PO Number" > AI needs an override to recognize "Ref." correctly.
To access the AI Prompt, go to:
- Configuration > Processing
- Results sub tab > click the blue edit icon for the record
- Scroll down to the Extraction Attributes section (right side)
- Click on the Accuracy bullseye icon for the corresponding attribute
