What is Task Schedule Setup?
Task Schedule Setup allows you to configure automated task creation from within a program’s settings, accessed through the Controls, Misc Logs, and Prerequisites configuration area. By enabling the Use in Task Schedule toggle, you can link the program to a requirement that can then be utilized in the task scheduler. Additionally, the Timely Collection feature ensures that slightly late completions are still recorded as on time.
How to Enable Task Scheduling for a Program
Step 1: Hover over the Configuration icon > select Controls.
Step 2: Locate the program you want to configure and select the Edit icon.
Step 3: Turn ON the Use in Task Schedule toggle.
Step 4: Once enabled, you can set up the Timely Collection and Type by setting the acceptable completion window (in minutes, hours, days, or weeks). This allows tasks completed shortly after their scheduled time to still be considered on-time.
Example: If your Task Scheduler is set to create a record every hour for a “Divider Weight Check,” and the check is completed at 1 hour and 10 minutes, it will still be considered on-time.
Step 5: Click Save.
Where to See Timely Collection Results
After setup, the results of the Timely Collection will appear in the Timely Collection column for each applicable record across your program tabs.
