Automated Email Blasts are an advanced configuration that uses system rules, schedules, and workflows to send Email Notifications without manual action.
Automation is triggered by:
- Attribute based triggers – based on defined conditions or scheduled dates
- Workflows – based on system events

Configuring Automated Email Notifications
Automated Email Blasts are driven by system configuration.
- Attributes define when emails are sent
- Business Rules define what triggers them
- Workflows execute the notification
How to Configure Automation
Step 1: Locate Trigger Attributes
- Go to: Configuration > Attributes
- Enter “trigger” in the Name field
- Click Filter
- Select the appropriate eNotify trigger attribute
Step 2: Configure Notification Timing
- Open the trigger attribute
- Click Manage Script
- If unavailable, select Apply Recommended Script first
- Set scheduling values (e.g., days of month)
- Save changes
Step 3: Validate Business Rules
- Return to the Attributes grid
- Locate the eNotify attribute
- Click the Business Rules icon
- Confirm correct Document Groups are assigned
Confirm Email Profile Mapping
- Verify Document Groups are linked to the correct Email Profiles
- Confirm Supplier vs Item configurations are accurate
If needed, apply to Related Triggers. Repeat for similar triggers, such as:
- Supplier Document Trigger
- Item Document Trigger
