This article has been updated to clarify how document title changes will be applied.
- The “What updates automatically” section has been revised to reflect product areas where TraceGains will automatically update free-text document title references, including derived attribute scripts, user-defined dashboard filters, workflow conditions, and workflow actions.
- The “What may require customer configuration” section has been revised to clarify that email templates will remain the primary area customers may need to review and update manually.

As part of the October 2026 release, TraceGains is updating:
- Selected standard document titles
- Three form titles
- All document descriptions
These changes make TraceGains Standards clearer, more globally applicable, and more consistent across Gather and Enterprise. The purpose and type of each affected standard will remain unchanged.
What is changing
Updates include:
- replacing region-specific or unclear terminology
- expanding abbreviations
- aligning related titles to consistent naming patterns
- clarifying what each standard captures or what document should be provided
What updates automatically
No action is required where document titles appear as system-managed values or references.

Recommended action
Before October 6, 2026, review the updated title list and identify any email templates where document titles exist as customer-authored free-text.
What is not changing
These updates do not change:
- the purpose of the affected standards
- customer configuration that does not reference title text
