As part of the October 2026 release, TraceGains is updating:
- Selected standard document titles
- Three form titles
- All document descriptions
These changes make TraceGains Standards clearer, more globally applicable, and more consistent across Gather and Enterprise. The purpose and type of each affected standard will remain unchanged.
What is changing
Updates include:
- replacing region-specific or unclear terminology
- expanding abbreviations
- aligning related titles to consistent naming patterns
- clarifying what each standard captures or what document should be provided
What updates automatically
No action is required where titles appear as system-managed values or references.

What may require customer configuration
Enterprise users should review and update any places where a document title is entered or referenced as free text, including:
- Derivations
- User Defined Dashboard filters
- Email templates
- Workflows
What requires customer configuration
API users must update any systems or integrations that reference Standard Document titles directly.
Recommended action
Before October 6, 2026, review the updated title list and identify any integrations, derivations, filters, reports, or downstream processes that use title text.
What is not changing
These updates do not change:
- the purpose of the affected standards
- customer configuration that does not reference title text
